1. 개요
포우타 (Po-uta)는 2023년 3월 7일 발매된 보컬로이드 음원이다. 미국의 싱어송라이터 포터 로빈슨의 앨범 Nurture 스타일의 피치업된 보이스를 샘플링해 만들었다.이름은 포터의 일본어식 발음과 노래를 의미하는 일본어 단어 우타 ([ruby(歌,ruby=うた)])의 합성어이다.

this is a demo-song I made to demonstrate my new official VOCALOID voicebank! i went for a fairly hard-tuned “robotic” sound to match the song’s themes (and so much of my own favorite vocaloid music is in the “ROBOT” style), but Po-uta is also capable of realistic, human-sounding expressive styles too. i’m really curious to hear this software in the hands of people more capable of advanced VOCALOID tuning than me! 이것은 제 새로운 공식 VOCALOID 보이스뱅크를 보여주기 위해 만든 데모곡입니다! 저는 그 곡의 주제에 맞추기 위해 꽤 열심히 조율된 "로봇" 사운드를 들으려고 했지만(제가 가장 좋아하는 보컬로이드 음악 대부분은 "ROBOT" 스타일입니다), 포우타는 사실적이고 인간처럼 들리는 표현 스타일도 가능합니다. 저보다 더 발전된 VOCALOID 튜닝을 할 수 있는 사람들의 손에서 이 소프트웨어를 들을 수 있는지 정말 궁금합니다! |

7. 여담
- 분명히 남성 목소리인데도 데모곡에서는 여성 목소리처럼 들린다.

데모곡에서는 로보틱한 느낌이 나도록 한 것과 애초에 Po-uta 자체가 앨범 Nurture의 피치업된 보이스를 쓴 것 때문인 듯하다.
다만 다른 곡들에서도 여성스러운 목소리가 나고, 심지어 일부 곡들은 로보틱한 느낌이 없는데도 여성스러운 느낌이 든다. -
포터 로빈슨의 보컬로이드다 보니까, 커버곡의 경우

Sad Machine 등 포터 로빈슨의 곡이 꽤나 많다.
