미국의 포크 락 듀오 사이먼 앤 가펑클이 1968년 4월 5일에 발매한 싱글이며 이들의 4집 Bookends의 네번째 싱글로 발매되었다.2. 상세
영화 졸업의 주제곡으로서 공전의 히트를 거둔 곡이다.미세스 로빈슨을 소재로 한 곡으로 영화 졸업의 삽입곡으로 쓰였고, 이들의 앨범 Bookends (1968)에 수록되었다.[1] 영화와는 별도로 큰 인기를 끌어 핫 100 1위까지 올라갔고, 다음 해인 1969년에 그래미 어워드를 수상하기도 했다. 그리고 무려 대선배인 프랭크 시나트라가 리메이크하기도 했다.
영화가 개봉한 뒤인 1968년 공전의 히트를 기록했으며 특히 Where have you gone, Joe DiMaggio? 부분으로 인하여 당대 은퇴한지 한참 지난 선수였던 조 디마지오가 갑자기 급부상한다.[2]

당시 디마지오는 은퇴한 지 10년이 넘은 상태였고, 한때 결혼했던 마릴린 먼로와도 사별한 지 5년 이상 지난 상태였다. 안 그래도 여생을 조용하게 사는 것을 원했던 조 디마지오는 자신이 갑작스레 급부상한 그다지 반기지는 않았고, 자신은 아직 살아있는데 왜 죽은 것처럼 말하냐고 불쾌함을 표현하기도 했다.
