Gares - Place Auguste-Gibert Montpellier railway station. Arch. Charles Didion 1844-45. The station was enlarged and transformed several times. Except the main façade, the whole building has been demolished and rebuilt for modern use between 1980 and 1983. Because of too many extensions, additions and adjustments related to the increased traffic, the station has lost its clarity and its operating logic.
